BI report overview preparation

Most of the medium and large size companies have some data warehouse and analytics solutions. Department managers keep producing more and more complex reports to get the data out of their systems and make data-driven decisions.

In this case the management needs a few simple data sheets combined from all those reports from different sources.

One option would be to try and do this with their respective data analytics tool, but if it is too complex or impossible due to some limitations, it has to be done manually. Surely such a manual, repetitive and standardized task can be automated.

Robot was thought to log in Qlik system, open 3 different reports, export 8 different overview tables, and paste all the data in spreadsheet templates used to enable formatted and simplified printouts. These PDFs are sent out to a group e-mail every morning.
